I was feeling pretty good about going in for my 11th chemo infusion, but chemo always finds a way to kick me back into reality and remind me just how serious these drugs are.
My mom and I were determined to turn what normally is a pretty depressing day into a fun day. I talked her into taking a full day off from work so we didn’t have to rush. Instead, we spent the morning shopping, singing, and taking silly videos.
I’m so thankful for her! We had a really fun morning, but the fun stopped once my chemo started. I know I say this every time now, and every time it’s true, but this was my worst treatment yet. I don’t even feel like going into details about it because they aren’t pretty. Instead, I just want to share a fun video that my mom and I made that morning. 🙂
