Hi, I’m Crystal!
Cancer survivor, adventure seeker, dog mom, and running coach!
I was diagnosed with Lymphoma when I was 25 years old and while that was the most challenging and terrifying thing I’ve ever gone through, I’m proud to say that I kicked cancer’s butt and came out with a brand new perspective on life.
I believe that you should say yes to new opportunities and no to doing things “later.” During chemo my motto quickly became, “never waste a good day” because they didn’t happen all that often. I follow that motto to this day and I’m here to try to convince you to do the same!
My hope is that you don’t let a cancer diagnosis or other life threatening event be the reason you start living life to the fullest. I can’t wait to share my new adventures and with you all. Thank you for following along through my journeys!
On my page, you’ll find:
I started this blog in May 2017 when I was first diagnosed with cancer. I go into every detail of my diagnosis, treatment, and even the struggles I faced after chemo was over. Warning: this gets very personal!
I’m so excited to be starting a new chapter in my life now that cancer is fully in my rear view. I am going to start sharing more about how I’m taking full advantage of my second shot at life!
